Set SMTP in MOSS 2007

If you are getting error related to SMTP configuration in MOSS 2007. See following

In IIS->Default SMTP srver ->properties ->access->Relay -> Add IP of server->OK.
In Security->Add User Permission.

In Central Administrator of sharepoint
in Operation tab:
Set outgoing mail settings

in Application Management Tab:
Set webapplication outgoing mail settings

outbound SMTP server: <Server IP Address>
From Address: <EmailID>
ReplyTo Address: <EmailID>
Character Set: 65001(UTF 8)
